HOW TO CHECK YOUR IP ADDRESS IN LINUX USING TERMINAL

No matter what build of Linux or Unix you are running you can check your internal IP address using terminal
  Follow this steps:
Step 1: Open terminal by pressing holding down "Ctrl+Alt+T"
Step 2: Type this command "ip addr show
Each device's ip addr is listed after "inet"
If you don't know which device you're looking for, check out "eth0", the first Ethernet adapter recognized.
Enter "ip addr show eth0".
